Last year, my birthday was the worst I ever had. Almost no one remembered it. It was a total contrast from my secondary school and it was just shocking. It turned out to be a nightmare birthday for me.. So i wasn't expecting much this year for my birthday yesterday.. Oh boy.. Was I wrong.. (:

Well, on the night before my birthday, 17th July, I didn't stay up till 12 mn.. I was exhausted because of the really long day I had which lasted till 11.. When I woke up the next morning, I had 12 messages waiting for me on my phone! So cool! (: I was so surprised! hahah! I went to school as per normal.. Then Serena came to give me my present.. Sweet stuff! I loved it..

Then, Taufiq called, asking me to come to the marque.. I had to pass him the flu medication cause he was really sick.. Poor thing.. I walked there with Serena.. Hahah! Guess what? The TA girls and Taufiq were there and they sang me a birthday song... So embarrassing! but it was great! Taufiq gave me a BAG of presents.. And every present had a meaning to it.. sweet!

There was a maths test yesterday and I totally forgot about it! So I asked Izyan for the Maths data booklet! Luckily, she had one with her! I didn't study for the test but it was doable.. (: yay! Since my day ended really late the night before, I didn't do my Chem specimen paper and my maths tutorial! And I'm really lucky because the tutors didn't go through at all so I didn't get scolded! ((((:

After collecting our result slips, I accompanied Serena to the library while waiting for the bus to come.. Then Samuel called Serena, asking the both of us to come down to the marque area.. When we were walking there, I saw a cake! OH my god! I was so happy! My class celebrated my birthday! Even Mr Hsu! Suzanne, Serena, Pamelyn, Cherlynn, Yun Hui, Elis, Fang Yun, Shirlyn, Shee Ping, Samuel, Qin Kai, Shane, Roy, Vincent, Zhi Hao, Han Yang, Lap Kan, Shan Zhi, Ping Chiang, Teck Kian, Min Young, Devang, Nikunj, Kunaal! Thank you so much you guys! I love you guys so much! I never got a cake before from my class even at Cedar! Whee! It was fantastic! And you guys knew I don't like berries! Hahah! Thanks! YAY! :D

But then, Atiqah called me because the bus was leaving for woodlands! I ran like crazy to the bus! Hahah! I sat alone with my presents on the bus.. Taufiq was sitting in front feeling sick so he slept.. Then slowly, he start to slide down.. I wanted to snap a picture oif him looking like that but then I felt mean.. hahah! Lucky Taufiq! Or I would have posted it on my blog! hahah! Kidding! Then Aishah and Maziah started to sing a birthday song for me in the bus and everyone started to sing along! YAY! Thank you!! ((:

We got to Woodlands Library for the malay debate.. Then we went to the auditorium and the debate started.. The competition was really intense but generally I thought TJ's argument was much stronger and convincing.. Then, while waiting for the results, my dear sister Fizah came! YAY! and she gave me this:

It's my full name in Arabic! So awesome! Whoa! No wonder Taufiq I asked me for my full name the other time! (((: Whee! I love you, Fizah! Then The results was out! TJ WON!!!!!! YAY!!! :DDDD Atiqah got best speaker for the finals! Nabilah got the best overall speaker and Dinie got best speaker for one of the debates! whoa! The whole team is made up of best speakers! Yay! (: Congratulations to the debaters! I'm so lucky coz TJ won on my birthday!

We took lots of pictures! And I got lots of birthday wishes from the seniors too! hahah! ((: It was fantastic! After all the photo taking, we went out of the audi to get some light refreshment provided for us.. Then suddenly, the whole TJ community sang a birthday song for me! It was so LOUD! Whoa! Syafiq from RJ heard and he wished me happy birthday too.. ((: Then they sang another one for Mariam too cause it was her birthday too!

Then, Baz, Farah, Atiqah, Syaz and Liyana presented me with a photo album!! Argh! And all the memories I had with them and the rest of MCS were inside! I was totally blown away! I didn't expect it at all! It was filled with wonderful and sweet memories! (: I actually cried when I look at all the pictures.. (: I love you guys so much.. *big hug* Thank you so much! We took so much pictures! And I felt so loved! :D Here's a preview of it!

Sadly, I couldn't stay for dinner with them.. I had to be home before Maghrib (one of the night prayers) cause I had another celebration waiting for me at home.. ((: When, I reached home we had Canadian Pizza for dinner! Whee! AND my parents bought for my sister and me an Oreo Cheesecake from Secret Recipe! And our names were also on the cake for the first time ever! so nice!!! I'm so lucky today because earlier today, I was just telling Serena how much I wanted to it oreo cheesecake for my birthday! Hahah! Lucky Me!

Then my sister went out with our seniors, Kak Huda and Ustazah Aishah! They brought us to the Night Festival at the National Museum: Dancing Sky! It was beautiful! It started at 9 and lasted till 11 pm.. Here are snap shots of it! ((:

We waited for our dad to pick us up and in the end, we only reached home at 1.15am! Latest I've ever stayed out!

It was the best birthday ever! I couldn't ask for a better birthday! I'm actually glad that I'm in TJ and not VJ.. Because I would not have a birthday like this in VJ.. ((: I would have never thought that I'll spend my worst and best birthday in TJ! I love everyone! Thank you for the most fantastic birthday ever!

Man! It has been an eventful week! HAHAH! On Monday, it was youth day! ((: And my mom allowed me to go for a class outing at East Coast Park! I felt a little weird at first because, I was the only one in scarf! But after awhile, I got used to it.. Anyway, Samuel, Shane and I decided to skate! And they are fantastic skaters! The rest decided to cycle.. except for Serena.. She wanted to run instead to save money.. hahah! Anyway, I was the slowest and Serena was JOGGING beside me.. Oops! I fell 3 times! And the last one was the hardest! I grabbed onto Serena but I spinned around her and fell on my right side! Ouch! Then Samuel called Serena, asking us where were we.. Hah! They were already at the jetty while we were only at the cable ski area.. hahah! So Serena and I decided to change shoes and Serena skated while I ran beside her.. Actually, I pulled her! HAH! We finally caught up with the rest and we went to this tower-looking structure.. Serena and I changed shoes again and now, it was my turn to skate.. We went up the tower and took a class photo! Cool! It was blazing hot so we quickly went down.. I skated down the slope..and straight into the bushes! Oh my god! So embarrassing! I just couldn't stop myself! Oh well.. Then Cherylnn and Suzanne took turns using my skates.. Then at one point, I almost collided with a cyclist! I lost my balance trying to avoid the cyclist but Teck Kian caught me! Thanks, Teck Kian! ((: Overall, It was a fantastic outing!

BUT the next day, I had a swollen neck! I couldn't turn my head at all! It was because of my last and hardest fall during the skating! I think when I fell on my side, the weight of my head was too heavy and it jerked to the side, straining my left neck muscle.. Anyway, on tues, my class was teasing me and kept calling my name.. Since I couldn't turn my neck, I had to turn my whole body and they found that hilarious! Hahah! So lame lar.. Oh well.. Anyway, it's much better now.. Just slightly aching.. (: YAY!

Anyway, it's Nabilah's birthday today!

Oh gosh.. This week was ABSOLUTELY horrendous! I got back all my papers except for GP, which will be next Tuesday! My results was.. *speechless* I have no words to describe it (and that's why my GP sucks!).. I have to work super hard if I want to get decent grades for Prelims and A's.. But I'm so exhausted with school already! AH! I have extra lectures everyday after school, except Monday.. Now, I normally reach home 5-6 pm and I'll be so exhausted and lethargic.. Gosh.. I don't know how I'm going to survive the next 8 weeks before study break starts in week 10.. Oh dear me.. sigh..

Well, I finally officially stepped down from Kayaking on Wednesday.. The new captain is Jerrold and vice-captain is Baohui! *applause!* Yay! Oh yes! Speaking about Baohui, I forgot to mention her as one of my juniors who made life better for me in TJ! She's such a sweetie.. And super cute.. HAHAH! But full of nonsense and crap lar! One crazy little girl! hahah! She totally rocks! :D

Religious classes this week was interesting.. Very funny! We started out with the Quran recital with everyone reading one verse of Surah Ali-Imran.. Then, I think my sis wasn't very fluent reading arabic coz she hasn't recited the Quran for quite some time.. So she made quite a few mistakes here and there.. She was shaking after that.. I think she was scared out of her wits.. poor thing.. Felt like a gush of empathy for her at that point of time.. sigh.. Anyway, after that, we did our Isyak prayers together (berjemaah).. And continue the class with this group work.. We had to work individually at first and come up with a list of what defines us as muslims.. My group mates said that my handwriting was type written and everything and called me a neat freak! Oh my god! hahah! Then my handwriting was quite small and all so the A4 paper was only half-filled! I made an origami heart and pasted it in the blank space.. We then collated all of our lists and pasted it on a piece of mahjong paper and sticked it onto the board.. There were 6 groups all together and we hads to do a gallery walk and critique on the rest of the groups' lists! After it was all over, I read the comments on my list! One of them said that I had to improve my handwriting! Oh my god! Irritating! Then another one said "can I have your number?" and wrote his number down! Hahah! It was hilarious! XD Funny people! Makes the world more interesting don't you think? *smiles*

Oh yes! On Tuesday, when break had ended, Serena and I were walking fron the library to our class venue.. It was a bright yet breezy day.. And suddenly, this feeling of belonging to the school engulfing me.. I realized that I had quite a few wonderful memories in TJ, memories I know I can't get in any other JCs.. And it was really nice and warm, I must admit.. The last time I had that feeling was when I was in Cedar.. (: It kept me happy the whole day.. YAY!
