Urgh! Today is such a lousy day! Thanks to my MOST BELOVED LSM teaching assistant (TA), I have to go back to school tmr to redo my practical! IT'S MY FREE DAY FOR GOD'S SAKE! She's this china person who can barely speak english and obviously doesn't understand a shit about life science.

Bloody hell. She can't give clear instructions due to her poor english but when people ask her to repeat the instruction in mandarin, she stubbornly repeats it in english! Like what is her problem?! People are trying to make her life easier by asking her to repeat in mandarin, but NO! She just have to be stuck up and show off that she's a china girl who can understand and (barely)speak english!

And I swear she never had a degree in LS! she don't even know basic stuff like what is the minimum amount needed to put in a cuvette! Then because of her wrong instruction, yunguan and I had to repeat the whole thing again. This happened last week! This week was a different story. And definitely the last straw. Yunguan and I were about to start this quite tedious experiment and the TA said that whatever happens, we are NOT to repeat the experiment. So then we continued doing the experiment. Then near the end part of the experiment, some stupid idiot in the lab went to change the amount in the preset dispenser for one of the chemicals. So we, being the unlucky ones, suffered the brunt of that meaningless action! There was too little chemical in the test tubes. The main purpose of the chemical was to stop the reaction by diluting it but the TA said that there is reaction still so we have to find a way to top up the amount without going over the value. That's like asking us to do the impossible! what, are we like superman or something?!

Then we just ignore those set of test tubes and did our second set of the same experiment. When the TA saw we didn't do anything to our previous test tubes, she scolded ask and said that we should have repeated the whole thing! ARGH! DIDN'T SHE SAY AT THE START OF THE EXPERIMENT TO NOT REPEAT IT, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS?! I felt like strangling her!

Then she didn't even guide us how to solve the problem we had at hand! She just left us to fend for ourselves! She's the TEACHING ASSISTANT! She's supposed to ASSIST us!! ARGH! Then yunguan and I tried to top up the chemical we were short of. But when we came back to our lab bench, the lab technician was clearing our expt! The lab technician realized what happened and offered to give us extra time to redo. But we were so frustrated already. we had no mood to do anymore. The deadline of 6pm to submit the lab report was approaching. Both of us just resigned to our fate and started to explain what had happened from the start. The nice lab technician talked to the chief TA and our professor to let us come back tmr to redo everything.

We decided to redo because of the heavy weightage of the lab of 15% contributing to our total grade. Then yunguan started to tear up and that set me off too.. We were so upset over the whole thing. I HATE THE TA! She still tried to defend herself to the chief TA! She tried to puch all the blame to us! But WHATEVER! as long as I don't lose all the 15%, I'm happy.

thanks to her, I HATE LSM MORE THAN CHEM! right now, I would LOVE to go back to chem lab!
